My First Youth Leadership Training...

My 1st Youth Camp Experienced
"A timeless Training...Life Long Investment"

It was August 29, 2008, when I received an invitation letter from Central Office at Children International. I was eager at that time when i saw it.I asked myself " For what is this letter"?...then, when i opened , it recognized me; my God!. I was flattered. I am part of the global Youth Leadership Training that undergo training for three (3) days and two (2) nights. It was September 5-7 2008, at CICC building, Bogtong, Legazpi City, Philippines.

Enclosed is the response and excuse letter. So, I grab the opportunity to enhace my personal and social growth and to engage to the state-of-the art facilities given by CI.
It was September 5 2008, 5:00pm, a light mere day when i arrived at the CICC building. Knowing it all they are all friendly and hospitable, indeed a joker in all aspect as well.I came along with all the participates from any different sectors and barangays. Same as my extinct to the, no doubt they are all excited to explore, experience and enjoy the 3 days training.

As a first highlight of the activity, we started it with making of name tags, introducing ourself and a fabulous ice breaker...at 8pm when formal training started. We discussed the following: Identifying your assets, mapping issues and resources, and conflict problems. We finished that activity late in the evening. In fact we had our slept at at 2:00am and by 4:00am is our wake-up time!

September 6, we had our brainstorming and other activity. As the theme: "Challenging Training, Enjoy Activity". We had team workshop, power point presentation and tower specification. My general conclusion for the second day, they had an aesthetic presentation and informative workshop.

September 7, bye-bye time... our Last Day!!!. We had focused in creative thinking. A vision day and for Community Service that we've took....Until final moment came. We had our picture takings and final vow to everyone. It was 7p.m when YLT training finally ended.

As my final nature of experienced and conclusion to them, I would sincerely and proudly say, they performed their duties amazingly with zest and zeal even if they receives no pay. They are indeed a zealous facilitators and a young people in action.

Thank you and Congratulations!

More Power to you guyz!...

PENCIL

P
encil is the title of the story
Reasons why I am sorry yet happy
Aims to be simple but also funny
Years full of test, wonder and beauty
Even if there are trials to worry
Rainbow up above ends my agony,

Of all that is happening to me
Following God's will matters intensely

Things that are seen are all temporary
However, love endures eternity
Everything... I believe will end rightly,

Hoping all lives will become holy
Every heart be filled with sanctity
and Children International as part of me
Remains the "paper" of ivory
That is because...that "pencil" is me!
